About
For people who want to hear it straight.
A guide to independent writers, reporters and hosts whose work is paid for by the people who read and listen, so you can support them directly.
What this is
A directory of independent voices across a range of beats and perspectives, each described in their own words, with a link to where they say who funds them.
What this isn't
- Not a news site, and not an opinion site of our own.
- Not partisan. The list is built for range, and nobody is labeled by us.
- Not connected to anyone listed.
How the site pays for itself
Not yet. Later, maybe labeled bookstore affiliate links for the books listed. Never paid placement. Here's the full version.
